Are you looking for a way to stay fit and have some fun at the same time? Then it’s time to look for the best rebounder in the UK.
We all know that we need to exercise if we want to stay healthy. Regular physical activity can do everything from lowering your risk of a heart attack, to making it easier to manage your weight. Unfortunately, most forms of exercise aren’t much fun. Fortunately, there is a form of exercise available that’s just as exciting as it is good for you. Rebounding involves using a small trampoline, or “fitness trampette” to jump your way to better living. Although rebounding has been around for quite some time, the activity rose to fame after a 1980 NASA study in cooperation with the University of Kentucky.
The NASA document claimed that rebounding was one of the top exercises used to help astronauts regain bone density during space adventures. Since then, experts around the world have begun commending rebounding for its anti-ageing benefits. The question is, how do you choose the right equipment to begin your rebounding exercise?
We’ve scoured reviews, testimonials and product pages to bring you some of the popular options.

1. MaXimus Fit Bounce Pro (Editor’s Choice)
Simple, effective, and excellent at burning those unwanted calories, the Fit Bounce Pro from MXL MaXimus Life is an excellent piece of kit.
Features
Capable of supporting up to 150 kg, it is ready for anything you have to throw at it. Not only is the construction incredibly durable, but the low-impact jump surface also means that the trampoline is practically noise-free. While you’re engaged in your trampette exercises, the rest of your family can be watching TV or enjoying a family game night.
This fantastic model comes with a rebounding DVD for beginners included, as well as a bounceometer so you can measure how much work you’ve done in a single routine. While this rebounder does fold away for easy storage, be warned that it’s very difficult to unfold afterwards. Additionally, while the DVD shows you how to use the trampette with a stability bar, there is no bar included. We hope that the stability bar would come with the original trampette, rather than having to buy it separately.
- One of the quietest, most durable trampolines on the market
- 40-inch jump surface for plenty of space
- DVD, storage bag and bounceometer included
- Low-impact for joint pain and the elderly
- Need to buy the stability bar separately
- Difficult to unfold after storage
- Not ideal for people with a height of 5 foot 8 and above
2. MaXimus Pro (Best For Professionals)
The benefits of rebounding aren’t reserved exclusively for people who want to trim down or be fit. The MaXimus Pro Athlete’s rebounder is specifically designed for professional use.

Rebounding is also an excellent way to build muscle and endurance if you’re a professional athlete looking to take your routine to the next level. This rebounder comes with a stability handle for additional support during your workout, as well as a DVD for beginners.
The specially designed resistance bands included with the trampoline are ideal for toning work, and there are sand weights provided too if you want to really put your body to the test. The main problem with this piece of kit is how loud it is. The squeaky springs are sure to get on your nerves if you don’t have music to listen to.
- Durable and well-made
- Hinge folding so it can be stored easily
- An impressive range of features for athletic performance
- Excellent for weight loss and muscle growth
- Squeaky springs

Some of the reviews we read suggest that the material can begin to tear after a few uses.
- Excellent for safe bouncing
- Good for cardio and lung exercise
- Strong and lightweight design
- 6 legs for better stability
- The skirt material isn’t very durable

If your teenager is part of a local sports team, or they love working on their exercise routine in their spare time, they’re sure to appreciate their own mini rebounder to work out on. What’s more, you can use your trampette either inside or outside. Unfortunately, the kit isn’t suitable for smaller children, or larger adults, so user options are limited.

- Easy to assemble (ready to go in five minutes)
- Maximum user capacity of 100 kg
- Squeakier than some mini trampettes
- Not suitable for small children

The heavy-duty coiled springs absorb a lot of the impact from your bounces, so you won’t feel it in your joints. Additionally, the 140 kg capacity means that people of virtually any size can get fit using this model. It would be better if this rebounder also came with a DVD to guide you through your exercise, but you can always look for videos on YouTube.

- Incline workouts available
- Heavy-duty coiled springs support a range of weights
- Removable stability handle

How to Choose Your New Fitness Trampette
Regular physical activity is important. If you hate sweating it out on fitness equipment like treadmills and cross trainers, or you can’t stand the idea of using rowing machines and exercise bikes, it might be hard to motivate yourself to stay active. It’s a good thing that rebound exercise continues to be one of the fun ways to build muscle, support cardio development, and trim down today.
Because of the minimal impact that bouncing has on your joints, virtually anyone can start training with this fun and care-free form of exercise. The results are phenomenal too, with countless studies indicating that rebounding can help with things like:
- Reducing blood pressure
- Burning calories
- Strengthening the heart
- Improving circulation
- Increasing balance
- Developing lung capacity
One study even found that rebounding uses the increased G-force of a gravity-based workout to improve the activity in the lymph system, which helps to eliminate toxins and improve your immune system.
Key Features to Look at in Your Rebounder
So, once you’ve decided that rebounding is right for you, how do you choose the right mini trampoline? The most important features will depend on your personal slimming or wellness goals. However, some of the main things to consider include the following.
1. Comfort Level
Some high-end rebounders are so comfortable that you can jump barefoot without harming your feet. However, you may need to wear shoes with some models that have a tighter trampoline surface. Decide how comfortable you want your rebound exercise routine to be.
2. Jump Level
A lot of people assume that the better the jump you make, the better the rebounder must be. However, the truth is that you only need a limited amount of jumps in your routine to burn calories. You’re not going to buy a full trampoline after all. Look for something that absorbs your impact, rather than directing it back towards you.
3. Frame and Construction Quality
It’s important to know that you’re going to be safe when you’re using your new rebounder. With that in mind, make sure that you seek out a brand that uses strong materials in their frames and springs. You’ll also need to ensure that the legs of the trampette are sturdy, so you don’t feel as though you’re wobbling every time you land.
4. Spring Design
All modern rebounders come with their own shock absorption system which is usually made up of bungee cords or metal springs. Most people find that spring systems are a lot louder than bungee cords, but it depends on the model you choose. Quiet trampolines obviously mean that you can do your routine at any time of the day or night without disturbing anyone else in your home.
5. Additional Features
There are other features that you may want to think about too. For instance, some people prefer a rebounder that comes with accessories like a stability bar to aid them in their workout. Other fitness enthusiasts might look for a rebounder that they can use inside or outside depending on the weather. A common additional feature is the ability to fold your mini trampoline so that you can store it easily when not in use.
Bounce Your Way to Better Health
Just like with most fitness strategies, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer to which mini trampoline will be right for you. When you’re choosing the best rebounder in the UK, you’ll need to make your decision based on the features that matter most to you and your wellness goals. The good news is that there are plenty of models out there on the market for you to buy.
Our favourite has to be the MaXimus Fit Bounce Pro. Designed to give you everything you need for an excellent workout routine, this kit comes with weights, DVD guidance, free online membership and so much more. There’s even a bounceometer to count your jumps.

This is a very detailed review! This is really helpful when choosing the best rebounder for exercise and rehabilitation. I’ll be sharing this with my mom who’s currently trying to lose some weight.
Why is the bellicon not in this review? Since this is clearly much more superior to all the rebounders listed.
I have used many different rebounders until discovering the bellicon and I must really say, the bounce and quality is the best you can find.
Fully customizable and respecting any physical complaints. The bungees have no hard impact or wobbling, jolting movements and totally silent bounce. If you are looking for a true «health» rebounder – bellicon is the one to go for.
Worth every penny!
